The process of adopting can be a long and difficult journey. Journey Home Adoption Quilts is designed to help you explain how far you went to bring you child home. Journey Home Adoption Quilts also helps to show your child where their birth country is and where their forever family is. As your child grows, they can then show their friends the journey they have taken to become part of their forever family.

Our purpose in developing Journey Home Adoption Quilts is to help us raise the money to adopt a young girl and bring her into our home. I have developed these quilts to help you tell the story of your adoption journey. Each quilt is personalized to show your child the journey you took to bring them to their forever family. Each quilt will display 1) picture of your child in their birth country (along with an address) next to their birth country, 2) a picture of your new child with the forever family (with their new home address) next to their new home country, 3) their first name along the top of the quilt, and 4) the adoption date along the bottom of the quilt.

I currently have two designs to offer. The first one is the wall hanging "Journey Home Quilt" that measures 20" x 30". This quilt comes in 4 different color combinations - back ground and framing colors (the color/pattern of the continents vary from quilt to quilt). The second and larger quilt is the "That's Me Play Quilt." This quilt measures 43" x 65" This quilt comes in one design with the material on the back of the quilt imprinted with "I love my family." It is the perfect way for you child to show and explain where their birth country is to all their friends at sleepovers! Each quilt contains all the same infromation, just in two different sizes, one to hang in your house so you can look back fondly and remember your journey and the other for your child to hold and cherish.
